Spiritual gifts come in various forms. They can be separated into two main groups–the permanent gifts continue to edify the Church and the temporary gifts were signs to confirm the Word of God. 

For what purpose does God bestow spiritual gifts? How caught up should we be in defining a specific list and categorizing ourselves?
